Anyhow, I know hosting. Our customers and I know the very strict quality standards that we set. And I knew the great service we provided. So I had nothing to fear from Host Monster.....or so you'd think.

Superior hosting - this was rather embarrassingly demonstrated on a major TV show here in America when the hosting company was shown, by an independent expert, to be far, far superior to the hosting we were providing.
Cheaper prices - the volume that Host Monster do means that they can buy huge amounts in bulk and they pass the savings on. I simply couldn't compete on price.
Better customer service - I've always prided myself on the quality of customer service we could provide. But it's simply impossible for us, to deal with phone calls throughout the night. Because of the much lower volumes of calls it's not feasible for us to employ staff to deal with just a few calls each night.
Better guarantees - because the hosting was superior, Host Monster could afford to provide a more comprehensive guarantee.
Quicker response - because Host Monster so well organised, the response time would be much less.
More options - HOST MONSTER has a huge range of options that we simply couldn't compete with (the numbers just weren't there for us).
Work better - with dedicated system administrators there's no question that HOST MONSTER hosting is the most reliable hosting available.
Better quality servers- the greatest benefit from hosting comes from the properties of genuine quality servers. Namely the reliability. HOST MONSTER, again because they are so big and well organised can provide this.
Look, I'm in business and know when you need to bow out of a market. I couldn't keep selling our hosting knowing that our customers could get better hosting at a better price at HOST MONSTER.
So we simply refer all our old customers and visitors direct to HOST MONSTER or to our old hosting site. Take it from me - you simply won't find a better hosting site at a comparable price.
